Our Organic Sumatra Fair Trade Coffee comes from the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. Indonesia is the fourth largest coffee producer in the world. Throughout the island, the altitude ranging from 2,500 to 5,000.
Family farmers grow coffee beans on small farms. They uses Giling Basah, also known as wet-hulling process to prepare the green bean. The green bean then lay sun-dried. This process let green bean has higher moisture content.
Our Sumatra coffee is roasted to darker medium. The brew is smooth with earthy flavor. It has chocolate, elegant acidity, rustic flavor with lingering vanilla aftertaste. This makes an outstanding "anytime" coffee.
