Testimonials
Newberry is North Torrance's first "third wave" roaster, an area where the only places you can find coffee are at Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and McDonald's. They import beans from around the world, utilize high quality ingredients, roast locally, and establish partnerships with small farms.

Yelp
Excellent locally roasted coffee. Their choice of single origin plus roast length is always spot on. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I like this place because it's a local roastery and I appreciate what they do amid heavy competition from big coffee companies nearby. I came in to buy a bag of beans to try. They are knowledgeable about coffee, and when I mentioned I wanted the beans to be grinded for my moka pot, they knew exactly what I was talking about and how coarse the grind needed to be. I like how they mention the origin and type of process that is used to roast the beans, which for me is the mark of a true coffee expert.
